The Heritage Garden contains remnants of the yeoman farm family that lived on the property in the late 1800s/early 1900s including a family cemetery and their home’s stone chimney.

In general, parks are open from dawn to dusk every day.

  • The trail is a 10-foot wide, paved asphalt, multipurpose trail that runs for 1400 linear feet.
  • The trail provides an alternate route into the park, to Country Trail, and to the Leesville School Complex for pedestrians, bicyclists, and others coming from the neighborhoods south of Leesville Park.


  • There are two playgrounds on-site. One is for ages 2 to 5 and the other is for ages 5-12.
  • Playground features include slides, cargo nets, climbing structures, and a sand surface.
