Join us for a World Refugee Day celebration where we recognize, honor, and educate others about the experiences of those who have been forced to flee their homes. Come, be a part of this special occasion and show your support for our newest neighbors.
The event features local vendors, food trucks, field games for all ages, and performances from community groups showcasing the diversity of Raleigh.
At 5:30 p.m., don't miss the performance by Caique Vidal & Batuque! Rooted in the Afro-Brazilian traditions of his Bahia birthplace, Caique Vidal and Batuque fuse the sounds of samba, reggae, salsa, bachata, pop, rock and Bossa Nova.
The City's Community Engagement team will also be in attendance to connect with residents, answer any questions, and encourage public participation.
