Join us for a free lecture at the City of Raleigh museum with Kaya Littleturtle! Coming from a long line of cultural leaders that guided him on his walk as a traditionalist, Kaya Littleturtle is currently employed at the North Carolina Museum of History as the Community Programs Coordinator. He is the lead singer of the championship drum group WarPaint, who travels all over Indian country. Littleturtle is an active member of his community’s traditional longhouse and belongs to the Snipe Clan, one of the seven traditional longhouse clans. He is an enrolled member of the Tuscarora Indians of Kahtehnuaka Territories.
