From bike rides and nature walks to history exhibits, art programs, and community pop-ups, residents can explore the trails in fun and meaningful ways.
Throughout October, these activities highlight the greenways’ impact while inspiring the next 50 years of connection and discovery.

Nature History Walks
Celebrate 50 years of greenways in the City of Raleigh by exploring the natural wonders living within their surrounding natural areas! Join us for a guided nature walk with naturalists from our Nature Preserves to find amazing plants, animals, and fungi that live near your neighborhood greenways.
