The Loans Unit in the Community and Small Business Development Division is tasked with overseeing the servicing loans provided under our Homebuyer Program, Housing Rehabilitation Programs, Community Development Projects, and other housing-related loans provided by the City of Raleigh.
AmeriNat is the loan servicer for the City of Raleigh and receives payments and handles issues relating to repayment of loans to the City.

Borrower Service
Borrowers can use the AmeriNat Loan Link portal to access the borrower-facing website to view and interact with their accounts. For details on how to register an account with Loan Link, please click here.

Pay Off a Loan
If you want to pay your loan in full, you need to submit a payoff request. Third-party requests should be accompanied by the loan number and a borrower authorization.

Online:
Payments can be made online by visiting the AmeriNat website. Under the Login tab, select Loan Link to log in and make a payment.
By Mail:
Please write your loan number on the check and mail in your payment to AmeriNat.

Request Loan Subordination
The City may permit refinancing of the homeowner’s primary mortgage and re-subordination of the lien under the following circumstances:
- Refinance loans to change rate or term. The rate must be less than the original rate and must be fixed.
- Cash-out refinance loans for home improvement (to correct code violations, or other extenuating circumstances, as determined by staff) or economic/medical emergencies.
The lender should complete the Request for Subordination and submit the form with the required supporting documents. To submit the request, please email the completed package to loanservicing@raleighnc.gov.
