The Loans Unit in the Community and Small Business Development Division is tasked with overseeing the servicing loans provided under our Homebuyer Program, Housing Rehabilitation Programs, Community Development Projects, and other housing-related loans provided by the City of Raleigh.
AmeriNat is the loan servicer for the City of Raleigh and receives payments and handles issues relating to repayment of loans to the City.

Borrower Service
Borrowers can use the AmeriNat Loan Link portal to access the borrower-facing website to view and interact with their accounts. For details on how to register an account with Loan Link, please click here.

Pay Off a Loan
If you want to pay your loan in full, you need to submit a payoff request. Third-party requests should be accompanied by the loan number and a borrower authorization.
Payoff Request by Phone:
Call 1-800-943-1988, then press 4 for payoffs

Online:
Payments can be made online by visiting the AmeriNat website. Under the Login tab, select Loan Link to log in and make a payment.
By Mail:
Please write your loan number on the check and mail in your payment to AmeriNat.

Loan Satisfaction
The City records loan satisfactions with the Wake County Register of Deeds after the loan is closed in Amerinat. If you are unable to locate the satisfaction on the Register of Deeds website, please email loanservicing@raleighnc.gov with the following information:
- Borrower name
- Address
- Date loan matured/paid off
Please allow 15 business days for processing.
Request Loan Subordination
The City may permit refinancing of multifamily borrower’s primary mortgage and re-subordination of the lien under specific circumstances. Please allow at least 15-business days for initial staff review. Additional time may be required based on necessary authorizations.
Borrowers should submit a loan summary and proposed refinance terms to LoanServicing@raleighnc.gov.
Homeowner Loans:
The City may permit refinancing of the homeowner’s primary mortgage and re-subordination of the lien under specific circumstances specified in the Refinancing and Subordination Policy listed below.
The lender should complete the Request for Subordination and submit the form with the required supporting documents. Please take note of the timelines stated in the policy. To submit the request, please email the completed package to LoanServicing@raleighnc.gov.
