    Add to Calendar 2026-02-24 14:00:00 2026-02-24 15:00:00 Partner Event: NC Employee Ownership Ambassador Program Webinar Series Hosted by North Carolina Employee Ownership CenterThe North Carolina Employee Ownership Ambassador Program is for people that work with businesses–in economic development, as business service providers, legal professionals, financial advisors, etc.–and would like to learn about employee ownership from people with experience working with or at employee-owned businesses, connect with fellow participants, and learn how to take their new knowledge and connections into their existing work. Cohort participants will learn how employee ownership can protect jobs, increase community wealth, and create a more vibrant, inclusive economy. Additionally, participants will learn about the primary forms of employee ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), Worker Cooperatives, and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs). The NC Employee Ownership Ambassador Program has been designed as a 4-week program with virtual meetings and independent learning modules. Meetings will be once a week, with the total time commitment being 7.5-8 hours. Interested in participating or have questions? Join Tiffany Coley and Cynthia Deis for this virtual workshop where you’ll learn how to abandon the idea of the starving artist and make a profit with your artwork. This class will cover the details of a profit-driven pricing strategy for artists. You’ll discuss pricing for your artwork or art services, wholesale vs. retail pricing, how to identify productive hours and how to approach pricing to achieve a desired income level from your work. The class will work through pricing using a business case study and the details of pricing You will leave with a method to price your work, including a downloadable file that can be used when pricing your own work. Join us to meet local working artists and arts administrators.
