Raleigh Digital Connectors
Digital Connectors is a nationally renowned program, provided by the City of Raleigh, that aims to cultivate the next generation of digital equity leaders by providing leadership training and education about digital inclusion to youth 9-12th grade.
The Raleigh Digital Connectors Program is known for the immense impact that it has on both the city and students within our community here in Raleigh. This year, the program will have two cohorts to allow valuable lessons and skills to reach more students.

Program Details
This volunteer and internship program focuses on Digital Inclusion efforts that help bridge the digital divide. The program goals are to develop an understanding of the digital divide, digital equity, and digital inclusion and apply leadership within the context of digital inclusion.

Project Spotlight: Self-Guided Tours and Interactive Maps
The 2020-2021 Raleigh Digital Connectors class collaborated with the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau to create maps that showcase some of Downtown Raleigh's most visited attractions, historic sites, and beautiful parks. Each tour was developed and narrated by Digital Connectors. Attractions, descriptions, audio files, and art direction for the maps were all led by program participants.

Raleigh Digital Ambassadors
The mission of the Raleigh Digital Ambassadors is to expand and increase digital inclusion services to the City of Raleigh Residents through service-learning and community engagement as a means to address the digital divide.
Program Goals
- To engage in critical reflection through service learning surrounding digital inclusion
- To apply leadership skills in a community setting
- To demonstrate a deep understanding of the digital divide
- To build relationships with community members
Digital Ambassadors must be a graduate of the Raleigh Digital Connectors program and be a 9-12th grade student. More information regarding program components and requirements is coming soon!
