Big Ideas Raleigh Meetup Recap

City of Raleigh and Raleigh-Durham Startup Week Partner to Launch First Big Ideas Raleigh Meetup

The City of Raleigh is thrilled to report the success of its inaugural Big Ideas Raleigh Meetup. This event was hosted on April 11 by the Office of Strategy and Innovation in collaboration with Raleigh-Durham Startup Week (RDSW) and sponsored by Slalom

This event kicked off a series of quarterly Meetups designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and strategic planning for Raleigh's continued growth and development.

The first Meetup brought together a mix of community members, businesses, organizations, stakeholders, and local government representatives. Attendees were introduced to the Office of Strategy and Innovation, gained insight into the City of Raleigh's strategic plan, and were provided with invaluable opportunities for collaboration. Key takeaways included insights on the importance of strategic decision-making, and the benefits of Raleigh's Innovation Ecosystem.

The collaborative atmosphere and innovative ideas exchanged during the event reaffirm our commitment to supporting initiatives that drive positive change within our community. Slalom is proud to have sponsored this inaugural meetup, and we are enthusiastic about continuing our support for future Big Ideas Raleigh Meetups. We believe in the power of collaboration, innovation, and look forward to being an active participant in the collective effort to shape Raleigh's future.
