Megan Patton

About

Megan Patton was elected to represent District B on the Raleigh City Council in 2022. She serves as Chair of the Transportation and Transit Committee and as a member of the Growth and Natural Resources Committee. She is active in Moms Demand Action and the PTA and works in customer service for an e-commerce company.

Council Member Patton has a B.A. in education from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has worked as an elementary school teacher and factory manager.

When she’s not tending to City Council matters, Megan enjoys time outdoors with her family, along with gardening, bread baking and making clothes.
