City Clerk's Office

The City Clerk attends all meetings of the council and its committees and records official actions, acts as custodian of all legal documents pertaining to the City and prepares and publishes City ordinances, resolutions and notices of public hearings. The clerk's office assists in preparation of the City Council agenda and prepares and distributes committee meeting agendas.

Other responsibilities include tracking and coordinating City Council appointments to their advisory boards, scheduling citizens for appearance before City Council, providing information concerning Council activities, receiving and processing applications for the Civil Service Commission, and providing staff assistance to the board.
