Raleigh Arts is launching an artist registry and we want your help!
This fall, the public arts team is launching a new way for local artists to be considered for public art projects under $30,000.
Our Emerging Public Artist Registry will be open to NC-based artists who work in a wide range of media: murals, sculpture, photography, illustration, ceramics and mosaics, fibers, digital art, and more. This opportunity will be tailored to everyone from established studio artists looking for ways to break into public art to working public artists seeking projects that can help them reach the next level. Artists who are accepted to the registry will be eligible for a two year period before having to reapply.
Share your Feedback
On Sept. 4, the public art team held a virtual information session to share the proposed registry structure and solicit feedback from artists.

We want to make sure that what we are building will work for artists! We're accepting feedback through Sept. 30. If you have questions or comments, reach out to Kelly Marks, kelly.marks@raleighnc.gov, or Jenn Hales, jenn.hales@raleighnc.gov.
After we've incorporated your ideas, Raleigh Arts plans to launch the Emerging Public Artist Registry later this October. Please watch this space for updates!
