Project Requirements
- Provide a public benefit.
 - Be free and open to all members of the community.
 - Emphasize self-help, with ideas initiated, planned and implemented by the neighbors and community members who will be affected by the project.
 - Demonstrate community input and involvement.
 - Occur within the City of Raleigh limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
 
Organization Eligibility
- Neighborhood-based organizations, as well as groups of neighbors who do not belong to an organization.
 - Demonstration of community input and involvement that shows that the project will benefit the neighborhood.
 
Timeline
- Completed applications will be accepted throughout the year, on an on-going basis.
 - Your application must be received at least six weeks before the start of a project.
 - Within three weeks of receiving your application, the Community Engagement Division of the Housing and Neighborhoods Department and the Raleigh Arts Commission will decide whether to approve funding.
 - After the project has been completed, a final report must be submitted by your organization or group receiving Neighborhood Art Funds to the Community Engagement Division
