Every March, The United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County partners with Wake County Public School System to produce Pieces of Gold, a performing arts extravaganza. The event features over 800 students performing in a packed auditorium of parents, teachers, and community leaders in Memorial Auditorium at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.
A visual component of Pieces of Gold, Gifts of Gold features the artworks of Wake County students in a temporary art exhibition in the lobby of Memorial Auditorium with an awards ceremony in the same location.
Gifts of Gold is a collaboration between Raleigh Arts, United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County, Wake County Public School System, and the WakeEd Partnership.
