Lead and Copper Testing
Every three years, we are mandated to perform comprehensive lead and copper testing across our system to ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations. This testing is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2025, at which point we will discontinue our volunteer lead and copper testing program.
Upon completion of the testing on September 30, 2025, we will be able to reinstate our volunteer lead and copper testing program. If you wish to have your water tested before September 30, 2025, please reach out to the Wake County Health Department Water Quality Lab at 919-250-4437. This lab offers analysis of your water samples for lead and copper for a fee of $20.00.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this period.
