Blue Ridge Road Bike-Ped Project Updates, Summer 2025

Crews are working on storm drains along Blue Ridge Road, maintaining two-way traffic with a lane closure. The bus stop at the Reedy Creek intersection is intermittently closed. Temporary signals have been installed at the intersection, awaiting Duke Energy to install the power meter for activation. Bridge crews are off-site, pending bridge delivery, but bearing plates have been shipped for installation this month.

August 27, 2025

Utility crews are installing a storm drain at the Reedy Creek intersection. Two-way traffic remains open, with a lane closure on Blue Ridge Road. Bridge crews are off-site while waiting for the bridge delivery. Signal crews are awaiting the arrival of the meter from Duke Power to complete signal work.

July 25, 2025

Crews are continuing storm drain work along Westchase Blvd and water main tie-ins at the Reedy Creek and Blue Ridge Road intersection. Signal crews have installed temporary signals at the intersection of Reedy Creek. They will resume paving operations once storm drain and utility work is complete.
