Blue Ridge Road Bike-Ped Project Updates, Spring 2025

Crews are currently finishing underground utility work along West Chase Boulevard and Blue Ridge Road. They are addressing issues with water valves and plan to lay the foundation for the bridge in the coming weeks. Soon, they will begin grading in the median on Wade Avenue and will pour concrete in preparation for the foundation of the pedestrian bridge within the next few weeks.

May 13, 2025

Utility crews are installing a new water line near the intersection of Westchase Boulevard. Two-way traffic is open, with lane closures in place on Westchase Boulevard and Blue Ridge Road. Traffic impacts have been minimal. Lane closures are removed as work progresses, and road plates cover any open excavations.

April 4, 2025

Crews are addressing waterline conflicts near Westchase Boulevard, which could temporarily delay this section of the project. Meanwhile, they are continuing utility, lighting, and signal work along Westchase Boulevard and Blue Ridge Road.
