October is Pedestrian Safety Month, and the City of Raleigh is celebrating Walktober with events and activities that encourage residents to get outside, explore Raleigh and learn more about walking and pedestrian safety.

Commute Smart Greenway Pop-Ups
Commute Smart Raleigh is hitting the greenways this October! Stop by one of our pop-up events to meet the Commute Smart Raleigh team and pick up complimentary safety items and swag while celebrating Raleigh's greenway system.

Celebrate White Cane Day and show your support for the blind and visually impaired communities.
The event will include a presentation of Governor Stein's proclamation honoring White Cane Safety Day and recognize the independence, mobility and achievements of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Commute Smart Raleigh's favorite fall event is back!
Join us for the 5th annual Chocolates and Trains for a behind-the-scenes tour of Raleigh Union Station, complete with complimentary coffee or hot chocolate.
