Come learn about draft recommendations from the Active Mobility Plan and Downtown Mobility Study - the plans that will unite Raleigh's active mobility network.

Do you walk, roll, bike, bus, scoot, or drive through Raleigh? 
If you answered yes (or even sometimes), this event is for you! Join Raleigh Transportation on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Chavis Park Community Center Reception Hall (Room 202) for Raleigh in Motion, a community open house where you’ll help shape the future of how we move.

We’re combining efforts from the Active Mobility Plan (AMP) and the Downtown Mobility Study (DMS) to build a unified, people-first transportation network. At this event, you’ll be the first to explore the draft recommendations, including priority projects, strategies, and implementation plans that are designed to make it easier—and safer—for everyone to get around.

What To Expect

This is a drop-in style open house, so come anytime that works for you.

  • Meet staff from Mobility Strategy & Infrastructure, Raleigh Vision Zero, GoRaleigh Transit, Raleigh Greenways, Housing & Neighborhoods.
  • Interactive stations to provide feedback.
  • Light refreshments will be provided.
  • Activities for the kids.
  • This is a free, family-friendly event.
