John Holden is the Big Dreamer, more formally known as the Smart City Manager. John is responsible for designing and implementing a coordinated Smart Raleigh plan. In this role, John will build upon his 30 years' experience in community, economic, and business development.
John is eager to identify innovative people-first solutions to improve the efficiency of public services and infrastructure while encouraging new business formation and growth in Raleigh. John has a BS in Environmental Sciences from Bowling Green State University and a Masters in Community Economic Development from the University of Maine. John enjoys cooking and golfing.
