A public-private partnership led by The Conservation Fund and the City of Raleigh, in coordination with the North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute, Partners for Environmental Justice, and the Walnut Creek Wetland Community Partnership, is also underway at the Park. A new entrance is coming soon! Thanks to $340,000 in funding from The Conservation Fund, Raleigh Parks is moving forward with a southern gateway into Walnut Creek Wetland Park, improving access for nearby neighborhoods.
