Help build the Historic Preservation Plan! This project provides the first opportunity to develop a preservation plan that reflects the community.
Ways to Get Involved
We’re looking for technical experts and Raleigh residents to help set the vision for protecting historic places that are important to the community. You will:
- Provide community input
- Identify important historic sites
- Guide strategies to preserve the city’s cultural and historic resources for the future.
Technical Advisory Group
This group will provide expertise, from architecture to planning to education, to help guide the Historic Preservation Plan and support efforts to preserve the community’s identity, stories, and historic places.
Community Working Group
This group brings together community voices and diverse perspectives to guide the City’s preservation plan. No historic preservation experience is needed.
Compensation of $20/hour is available for members of each group who are not being paid to participate as part of their job.
