How To Request an After-Hours Inspection

After-hours inspections are for any inspection needed outside of normal business hours (7:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.). These inspection requests should be discussed with your inspector prior to requesting them formally. All work must be complete and ready for inspection before scheduling. These inspections are only for non-emergencies, and a contractor representative must be on site with job plans and ready access to all areas needing inspection. Scheduling is based on the availability of Building Safety division staff. A two-day notice is generally required for after-hours inspections.
