Greetings Foodie Friends! Historic Moore Square Park is once again hosting The Lunch Brake—a weekly lunchtime series celebrating local food trucks and vendors.
Located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, our park draws steady foot traffic from nearby offices, schools, Marbles Kids Museum, residents, and daily visitors looking to enjoy food and fresh air. Service runs Mondays and Tuesdays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Martin Street Plaza, with up to three trucks featured each day.
The plaza was widened during park renovations to support food truck access and take advantage of the crowd flow. It’s a scenic spot shaded by 200-year-old oak trees, but those beautiful trees come with large, low-hanging branches that can damage taller vehicles. Important: Do not attempt to drive into the space on your own. Check in with a Moore Square staff member upon arrival, and we’ll guide you in safely to avoid any vehicle or tree damage.
As always, North Carolina weather can be unpredictable. In the event of severe weather, park staff may postpone or cancel service.
Please complete the application here! Once approved, a Sign-Up Genius link will be sent for scheduling. As a thank-you for supporting park engagement, Raleigh Parks offers a $50 stipend per service date, paid after your scheduled shift.
Thanks for nourishing our community!
