Raleigh Parks is cheering on one of our own!
Cassidy Wu, a longtime participant in Raleigh Parks youth baseball leagues, advanced to the 2026 MLB Pitch, Hit & Run National Finals in the 13 -14 Softball Division, becoming the first participant from our local competition to reach the national stage!
Cassidy began playing in Raleigh Parks baseball leagues in 2021 in our 7 - 8 Coach Pitch League and has continued to grow as an athlete. This past spring, she earned the Sportsmanship Award in our 13 - 14 Baseball League and helped her team win the league championship.
Cassidy earned her spot in the national finals after advancing through the local competition and winning the Team Championship held at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Her younger sister, Carlie, also qualified for the Team Championship, proudly representing Raleigh Parks alongside her.
Cassidy competed in the national finals during the MLB World Series in Milwaukee and placed fourth! We're incredibly proud of her accomplishments and for representing Raleigh Parks on the national stage!
