The winning tree will be announced at the City of Raleigh’s Arbor Day event on Oct. 24.
Upload a photo of a tree you would like to nominate for Raleigh's Tree of the Year. Please include the address or nearest park, the type of tree, and why you nominated the tree.
Please note that the tree must be located in Raleigh, is not identified as an invasive species and must be visible from the street if on private property.
Details
- Nominations will be accepted Oct. 1 through Oct. 14 at 5 p.m.
- Voting will begin Oct. 16 and end on Oct. 22 at 5 p.m.
- The tree with the most votes on Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. will receive a certificate. A yard sign is provided to the property owner/ or placed near the tree if located on City property.
- Please note that previous winners aren’t eligible to win again.
