Hop on the Historic Raleigh Trolley and learn about the strange history of historic house moving in the City of Oaks!
For nearly 200 years, Raleigh citizens have preserved their historic buildings by moving them from place to place. On this special Raleigh Trolley Tour, we’ll discuss how and why they are moved and show you where they went!
These hour-long tours begin and end at Mordecai Historic Park. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check tickets and meet the trolley on time. Tickets can be purchased online at reclink.raleighnc.gov or in person at the Mordecai Visitor Center. For more information, please call 919-996-4363.
