Come join the Zig-Zaggers Dance program!
- Round Dance (Beginner level) - Round dancing uses international ballroom dance steps. Dancers learn choreographed routines that build coordination and rhythm with the aid of a cuer. Learn steps in a variety of rhythms like waltz, foxtrot, rumba, cha cha, and two-step.
Dance steps learned while round dancing can be used elsewhere if social dancing is your goal. No prior dance experience is required—just a willingness to move and learn together. This is partner dancing. It is most enjoyed dancing with a partner. - Square Dance (Advanced Level) - The Square Dance Zig-Zaggers are an advanced-level dance group. The group is open to all dancers who have completed the A2 (advanced) level. The group dances to tapes by a variety of national and international callers.
If you are interested in becoming a square dancer, the Zig-Zaggers are happy to provide contact information to get you started. Visitors are always welcome, but please call ahead to make sure the class is not canceled. This is a small group and must have eight people to dance.
