It’s time for winter youth basketball registration!
The City of Raleigh Athletics will be offering youth basketball for ages 5-17. Please reference the age chart to see which league your athlete needs to register for. Leagues will be offered at various City of Raleigh community centers.
Open registration will be held from Oct. 1-14. Interested athletes may register online or at any City Parks community center during the registration period. City of Raleigh Athletics will provide the general equipment for practices and games, as well as team uniforms. Practices will begin in November and games will begin in December.

Signing Day Event
Calling all young hoop stars and future MVPs! Raleigh Athletics will be hosting the 2025 Youth Basketball Signing Day event on Saturday, Oct. 11, 10 a.m. - noon at Method Park and Community Center. This fun-filled event will officially promote the 2025 youth basketball registration, offering families a chance to register their children for the upcoming season and enjoy a day of excitement and community spirit.
This is more than just sign-ups—it's a celebration of youth, teamwork, and the joy of the game. Activities will include:
- Basketball games and activities for kids of all ages
- Music
- Food trucks
- Giveaways and raffle prizes
