Build Confidence Outdoors with Survival Skills Programs

Lake Johnson Park

Adventure, learning, and hands-on fun come together with two exciting survival skills programs designed to help both adults and kids gain confidence in the outdoors.

From navigating the wilderness without technology to mastering practical knot-tying skills, these programs offer engaging experiences for all ages.

Know Your Knots

Learning knots has never been so fun! Kids will explore how knots are used in outdoor adventures, creative problem-solving, and everyday life. Participants will learn to tie several useful and impressive knots, practice their new skills, and finish the program by creating a paracord bracelet to wear home with pride. Adults must accompany children; accompanying adults attend free and do not need to register.
