Wilderness First Aid Course

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification is the minimum standard for those looking to lead groups in the back country or for those who just want to be better prepared on their next outing.

This hands-on certification course led by Landmark Learning (NOLS) is 16 hours over two days and will cover the basics of first aid in the backcountry. The course will present and provide practical application of assessments, responses, environmental emergencies, and survival skills. Whether you are gearing up to lead a group this summer or looking for a WFA re-cert, this course is for you. Breaks will be taken for lunch, but participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and a snack each day. You will receive additional terms and conditions of the course provided by Landmark Learning beofre the course. WFA Certifications are valid for 2 years.
