All the rain we’ve had lately has done wonders for the sunflower field at Dix Park! The rows and rows of flowers look like bright bursts of sunshine.
Crews planted more than 125,000 sunflower seeds across five acres. The field serves as a pollinator habitat, and after they bloom, the seeds are left for birds and other wildlife to eat during the fall season
