Black Artists Day

City of Raleigh Museum

Explore artwork by local Black artists and discover how Black history and the city of Raleigh influence their process.

From 10 a.m -12 p.m watch local artist Tyler Jones create live work, engage in conversations with creatives in the community, and enjoy some fun crafts.

From 12:30 to 2 p.m., there will be a formal panel featuring JP Jermaine Powell, Pinkie Strother, Samantha Everette, Lord Phly, and Drew Jones. The panel will be facilitated by Dr. Paul Baker, the director of CAM Raleigh. Come join us for a joyful and inspirational program.
