Parking Rate Changes Coming August 1

Starting August 1, parking rates for on-street parking and select City of Raleigh parking facilities will change.

Parking rates have remained steady since 2018. Rate increases will help offset costs such as security, maintenance, repairs and improvements needed to ensure our parking system is safe, clean, and reliable.

The good news? The City's popular free two-hour parking program at participating downtown parking decks isn't going away. Your first two hours are still free Monday through Friday at all non-event decks. Parking in these decks is also free on weekends.

We'll share more information soon, including the new parking rates, affected parking locations, and answers to frequently asked questions.
