Impact Partner Grant: Fall 2024 Winners

Six local organizations were selected to receive grant funding.

We are proud to announce the Fall 2024 Impact Partner Grant winners! Read more about the organizations selected to receive funding.  

 

  • RIoT is a Raleigh-founded technology-based economic development (TBED) organization focused on job creation and company growth. The Impact Partner Grant funding will be used to provide entrepreneurial training and internship and mentoring opportunities to underrepresented college students.   • Hope Renovations is a nonprofit that prepares underemployed women and gender expansive individuals for construction careers and helps older adults age in place through renovation projects. The Impact Partner Grant funding will be used to expand their construction training for women and gender expansive individuals in Raleigh.   • Poe Center for Health Education is a nonprofit that educates and empowers North Carolina children, youth, and their families to make choices that increase positive health behaviors.  The Impact Partner Grant funding will be used to create a student-led garden-to-business initiative at the Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School.   • Enjoy the Baby, LLC  is a small business that empowers and supports doulas to provide care to families. The Impact Partner Grant funding will be used to train, mentor, and certify aspiring doulas. Learn more about Enjoy the Baby, LLC at www.enjoythebaby.com 

 

  • The National Black MBA Association – RDU Chapter is a nonprofit that fosters economic equity and career advancement for historically underrepresented professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring leaders through education and professional networks. The Impact Partner Grant funding will be used to create a training program for minority or woman entrepreneurs.
