Comprehensive Financial Report
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report contains the annual audited financial statements reporting the City's financial position and results of operations. Included in the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report are also schedules and related information on long-term obligations as well as debt service requirements. Key information surrounding external Grant funding may be found in the supplemental Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards (SEFSA).
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has recognized the City’s Finance Department with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

Popular Annual Financial Report
The Popular Annual Financial Report is a short summary of the City’s financial activities. This report is aims to inform the public about the City’s financial condition, without excessive detail or the use of technical accounting terms.
The Government Finance Officers Association has recognized the City’s Finance Department with an award for the Popular Annual Financial Report.
Building Code Enforcement Financial Report
§ 160D-1102. Building code administration: No later than Oct. 1 of 2023, 2024, and 2025, every local government shall publish an annual financial report on how it used fees from the prior fiscal year for the support, administration, and implementation of its building code enforcement program as required by G.S. 160D-402(d).
