Software Change for Public Meeting Agendas and Documents

What You Need to Know

The City of Raleigh is moving to a new software program that manages agendas, documents, and recordings for public meetings. The new software will look different and work better. Other than that, this should have little impact on how you interact with meeting materials for public meetings.

The new platform, eScribe, will replace BoardDocs as of July 1 for City Council meetings.

Don’t worry, how you get to the new meeting management tool will not change. Visit this page or search City Council. eScribe will be embedded directly into our website. This change is available now for City Council meetings. So, again, nothing to do on your end!

Throughout the year, the City will add more boards, commissions, and committees to the new platform so everything will be available in one place. For now, meeting materials for those bodies will still be available on BoardDocs.

Thank you for your patience during the transition.
