Notify Raleigh Fire about an Emergency Equipment Repair

When the required fire protection system (sprinkler system, fire pump, alarm system, etc.) is out of service in a building, the Fire Department must be notified immediately by emailing repair@raleighnc.gov. 

The email must include:

• The scope of the work; and,
• Type of fire protection needing repair.

Once the email has been sent, you will receive an automated email response with quick links and instructions for inspections and permits.

Report a Fire Watch

The RFD Fire Marshal or designee may require a building owner to provide a fire watch if a fire protection system fails, if there are an excessive number of accidental activations or nuisance alarms, or a special circumstance or event. The building owner determines the personnel to conduct the fire watch.
