Wake County Smart Start will host its annual agency block party event. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
The event seeks to bring together families, community, faith leaders, and the public to learn about available resources for children from birth to five years old. Attendees will enjoy a day of informational vendors, activities, games, free food, a touch-a-truck area, and more. The event is designed to promote community and family engagement, social inclusion, and culturally sensitive programs and services.
The purpose of the block party is to bring awareness to WCSS as an important connector for early learning programs for young children but also connect the community to other pivotal and important resources in their community.
Tha Raleigh Community Engagement Van will be in attendance.
