Business Engagement and Opportunities Program

A Service Unit of Economic and Social Advancement

The Business Engagement and Opportunities Enterprise Program (BEOP), formerly known as MWBE, advocates, promotes, and designs expanding opportunities for small, growing, and historically underutilized businesses for economic prosperity in contracting processes within the City of Raleigh.

The City has an aspirational goal of 15 percent of the total contract amount to be performed by underutilized businesses on construction and repair projects of $300,000 or more, and contracts of $100,000 or more that include any State funding.
