Over the past 12 years, more than 6,000 runners have come together to raise over $170,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs—and we’re just getting started! This year’s race begins at 9:00 AM, winding through historic Oakwood Cemetery before looping back to Wilmington Street, where the celebration continues with a lively street festival. Along the course, participants can stop at two altars—one in the cemetery and one on Wilmington Street—to leave flowers or written messages in honor of loved ones. After the run, stick around for local vendors, delicious food, live music, face painting, kids’ activities, and our famous dance-off costume contest. Whether you’re racing, remembering someone special, or simply joining in the fun, this event is a joyful celebration of community, culture, and giving back. City of Raleigh America/New_York public
