Citizens’ Annual Financial Report Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Building Code Enforcement Financial Report

The Accounting and Financial Reporting Services Division combines the areas of general accounting, accounts payable, and financial reporting.  The division managers report directly to the Controller. The Payroll and Procurement divisions also report administratively to the Controller.

Citizens’ Annual Financial Report

The Finance Department issues the Citizens' Annual Financial Report which presents a condensed overview of the City's financial results. Financial information provided in this report was derived from the City of Raleigh's 2021 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

The division also prepares the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and manages the annual financial audit conducted by an independent public accounting firm.

Building Code Enforcement Financial Report

§ 160D-1102.  Building code administration: No later than Oct. 1 of 2023, 2024, and 2025, every local government shall publish an annual financial report on how it used fees from the prior fiscal year for the support, administration, and implementation of its building code enforcement program as required by G.S. 160D-402(d). This report is in addition to any other financial report required by law.  (2019-111, s. 2.4; 2020-3, s. 4.33(a); 2020-25, s. 51(a), (b), (d); 2021-88, s. 1(f); 2022-11, s. 9(a).)
