The worst-kept secret in the South is that Raleigh is a great place to work, live, and play. We hear it so often, it sounds more like a slogan or a bumper sticker rather than a consensus opinion.
But it’s true. Last year, 18.5 million visitors spent $3.2 billion in Raleigh. With those sorts of numbers, the Raleigh City Council allocated $100,000 in January for a Sociable City Assessment.
