National Prescription Take Back Day

Join the City of Raleigh Police Department and Substance Use Advisory Commission this Saturday for National Prescription Take Back Day!

Take Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs and ensuring that prescription medications do not end up in the wrong hands. This bi-annual national event is led by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to fight the drug overdose epidemic, and happens every April and October in communities across the country.

Join us at two pharmacies in Raleigh to safely dispose of your unneeded or expired prescription and over-the counter medications. This is a free service, and no questions will be asked.

When? Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where? 1) Falls River Pharmacy, 10930 Raven Ridge Rd, Suite 109, Raleigh NC
2) Wegmans, 1200 Wake Towne Dr, Raleigh NC

Safeguard your community's safety and health by responsibly disposing of unneeded medication!
