Special Event Trash Receptable Artwork

Triangle-based artists have transformed ordinary trash bins into unique works of art. This fleet of artistic waste receptacles is now in use during festivals and special events throughout Downtown Raleigh. The project brings a pop of color to Downtown gatherings and encourages residents to properly dispose of their waste.

This initiative is funded by the City’s Office of Special Events and managed by Artsplosure in collaboration with Solid Waste Services and Raleigh Arts.
