THE WAVE by Britt Flood

New Window Murals in Downtown Raleigh

Artist Britt Flood installs two window murals on Fayetteville Street

Downtown Raleigh has two new bursts of color thanks to artist Britt Flood, who recently installed abstract window vinyl murals at One Exchange Plaza on Fayetteville Street.

The vibrant works, titled "THE WAVE," reflect Flood’s exploration of creativity, pause, and return. In her artist statement, Flood describes the murals as capturing “the roaring exhale of relief that comes with returning to something you love … the quiet power of creative homecoming. The pause wasn’t empty, it was waiting.”

The installation adds new energy and visual interest to Fayetteville Street, offering passersby a moment of reflection and inspiration in the heart of the city.
