Help Shape Public Art at Raleigh's New City Hall

Submit the survey by March 31 to share your input!

Bold and Interactive Artwork

Raleigh’s new City Hall will feature a dynamic public art installation, and the community has a chance to shape it. The interactive light installation will use real-time and archival data to determine the how the lighting moves in the artwork. Now, you can help decide which data will bring the influence and storytelling to the artwork by taking a short survey

How this Artwork is Made Possible

This project is funded through the Percent for Public Art program, which dedicates up to 1% of estimated hard construction costs towards public art in the project. After a competitive selection process, Susan Narduli was chosen by a community Artist Selection Panel and approved by the Public Art & Design Board to complete this project. She was chosen from over 150 applicants for her expertise in blending art, technology, and architecture. Learn more about the Artist Selection process.

Guided by community input, the artwork will be bold, welcoming, and interactive. Now, we need to hear from you! Take the survey to help bring this innovative public art to life.

City Hall construction is slated to be complete in 2026. Stay in the loop about the project by visiting the project page: Raleigh's New City Hall
