Panelists
Alexandra Williams is a multidisciplinary artist based in Raleigh. Her work centers on the sacred act of seeing and being seen. Through intentional, soul-led portraiture, Alexandra creates space for clients to explore their identity, reconnect with their power, and show up as their fullest selves. Her sessions often blur the line between photoshoot and spiritual ceremony, rooted in the belief that imagery can heal, liberate, and affirm.
Her work highlighting the Dix Pow-Wow, was featured on the cover of the 2024 May Issue of Walter Magazine. Through her studio work and community engagement, Williams continues tobuild a practice centered on visibility, authenticity, and creative liberation.

Trey Roberts is the Outreach Manager for Triangle Native American Society and an enrolled member of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe. He holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from William Peace University and has a strong background in community outreach, event organizing, and creative programming. Trey is the lead organizer behind the Dix Park Inter-Tribal Pow Wow in Raleigh, which brings together tribal nations and community members from across the region to celebrate Indigenous culture, art, and tradition.
Beyond his work with TNAS, Trey creates safe, joyful spaces for marginalized communities. His work bridges cultural celebration, social advocacy, and creative expression, with a focus on building connection and visibility for Native people in urban spaces.

Sandon Jacobs is an enrolled citizen of the Waccamaw-Siouan Tribe of North Carolina, with family ties to the Coharie and Lumbee peoples. Raised in the Buckhead community of Columbus and Bladen counties.
Sandon can often be found at powwows across North America, where he participates as a singer and master of ceremonies. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the North Carolina American Indian Heritage Commission, representing the Triangle Native American Society.
Today, Sandon serves as a Developer Advocate at Confluent, where he travels the globe speaking with software engineers about modern architecture practices in big data, data engineering, and AI. He lives in Raleigh with his wife, Brandi, and their daughters, Kaylee and Kaydon.

Sarah DeSpain is the Director of Program & Events at Dix Park, where she helps shape a park experience that is welcoming and meaningful for everyone. She oversees a wide range of community programs and events, including the annual Inter-Tribal Pow Wow, which highlights and honors the deep Indigenous connections to the land while celebrating Native cultures in North Carolina today. Through her work, Sarah supports opportunities for all communities tofeel reflected and included at Dix Park.
