The Arts Grants Committee reviews applications to the Arts Grant Program, the official vehicle for municipal support to the City's arts organization, and makes funding recommendations to City Council each year. The program is supported currently by a $5 per capita allocation, The Committee also advises on capacity building and other support for Raleigh's nonprofit arts organizations. The committee includes Arts Commissioners as well as community members who are subject-matter experts in the arts and nonprofit management.
