Final Ballot Process
City of Raleigh staff has been working with your neighborhood throughout 2023 to create a traffic calming design for your street that will address the specific needs of your unique street.
We are at the final step of the process where we are asking the question “Do you want this project built”. Please make sure you cast your ballot to ensure that your voice is heard!
A successful ballot means that we have received:
- On-street:
- Approval rating minimum: 70%
- Neighborhood:
- Approval rating minimum: 60%
All projects that are approved by the neighborhood ballot will be presented to Council for their authorization to move to construction. At that point, staff will work to transition to construction as quickly as possible with a likely starting time in fall 2024/winter 2025.
All ballot results for Group 1 and 2 have been finalized and are shown below. Staff is scheduled to present these ballot results to City Council at the January 2, 2024 Council meeting.
