Voice Your Ideas for a More Accessible Raleigh

Be heard. Make a difference.

Take Our Survey!

Your voice matters! If you can’t make it to the ADA Transition Plan public meeting on December 13, take a few minutes to complete the ADA Transition Plan online survey and help make Raleigh a city that truly works for everyone.

Raleigh is continuing its commitment to making our city more accessible for everyone—and we’d love for you to be part of that conversation.

Join us Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Operations Way Facility (2550 Operations Way, Raleigh) for a public meeting on the City’s ADA Transition Plan for the public right of way. The presentation begins at 10 a.m., and Raleigh Transportation staff—along with our consultant team—will be onsite to answer your questions, share updates, and listen to your feedback. Snacks will be provided!

This meeting isn’t just for members of the ADA community—it’s for anyone who cares about creating a more inclusive, connected Raleigh. Whether you walk, roll, ride, or drive through our city, accessibility impacts all of us. You’ll learn how the ADA Transition Plan guides improvements to sidewalks, crossings, and programs so that everyone can get where they need to go safely and comfortably. In advance of the meeting, check out the City of Raleigh Right of Way Summary of Findings document to learn more about inventory and assessment of sidewalk and pedestrian facilities in Raleigh.

We’ve scheduled the meeting on a Saturday to make it easier for people with weekday commitments to attend. If you’re planning to join us, please note that GPS systems sometimes misdirect visitors past the entrance. Be sure to look for signage guiding you to the correct building at 2550 Operations Way.

Please note: ASL interpreters and assistive listening devices will be onsite. Any additional accessibility support needed? Please email us at: ADA@raleighnc.gov. Have an accommodation request? Please let us know by Dec. 5. We’ll make every effort to help with later requests, but availability may be limited.

Together, we can make our city’s streets, spaces, and services welcoming to all. We look forward to seeing you!
